Who knew that you never use soap?

Who knew that hot coffee could taste so good?

Who knew that sail ties were so crucial - and in short supply?

Who knew that you could talk about SOGs and COGs and wind angles so much?

Who knew that folks could be so kind yet smell so bad after only 3 days?

Who knew that you can successfully pee sitting down at a 40 degree angle; pitching forward and back?

Who knew dawn was so glorious? (Whoever knew about dawn anyhow?)

Who knew that blue, yellow, white, red and green lines are all the same colour at night?

Who knew what ' hot bunking' really meant ?

Who knew that all those blue, yellow, white, red and green lines all had specific and carefully chosen uses - except when they didn't?

Who knew what a great meal can be had within just one bowl and a spoon?

Who knew sailors - especially those that race - could talk about sailing - especially sail racing - as much as golfers talk about golf?

Who knew that all I needed to do was to ask for the clothes pins?

Who knew had delightful and invigorating fresh clean dry socks could be?
