Well, here we go again. My turn for the kitchen, then the blog. A day of full on racing with the top helms in the Ocean Sprint needing sustenance throughout the day. It was my job again to produce hot tasty food from the day’s food bags, which were packed last month in Gosport. My lottery produced a really good option based on sweet and sour sauce and some frozen chicken to which I added onions fried off with the chicken. Noodles were served - the 3 min variety - which were quite easy to do on the angle we had for the Ocean Sprint. Later, a Tour of Persia was composed with the contents of the bag including dried fruits and grains with a tour de force tin of fruit cocktail. Great bag. Later in the evening, as we were going to bake the bread, we suffered an over-tilted cooker which meant the bread could not go in as the oven door was jammed.

  • Chasing through the Oceans
  • Like small diamonds on a chart
  • In the big wide blue sea
  • Performing heroic gymnastic tasks at sea created angles
  • Plunging and pumping to keep the boat dry
  • Ending up on another continent quite different from the one we left
  • Racing Racing Racing like no one has done before!
