Greetings to all our on-shore crew, loved ones, family, friends and supporters,

Reaching out to all of you for a little help as we are stuck in a wind hole and floundering around in the middle of the Atlantic. Raise your hands up high over your head and shake them all about, then blow lots of kisses and wind our way. Hopefully, this will not be deemed a weather assistance, just a little love coming our way as we are eager to get back racing after 15 hours of sitting on our backsides! Can't lose our focus now – we've come too far and have only 565 miles to go. We'll use this time to get a bit of rest before we're ready for some hardcore raising again.

Our skipper Conall, Graham, Mike and others are busy in the Nav station analysing the weather reports. Every strategic decision in determining our sail plan is discussed. There's another vessel in sight and sure enough Liverpool 2018 is in the house! Yep, after 6000, the fleet is gathering too close for comfort, many in the same position as ourselves. Which means we're not alone out here. Mother Nature is calling the shots. I question, “Where is King Neptune when we need him?” Here's where we have to reach into our toolbox and pull out a bit of Patience, Focus, Determination, Strategic Planning – lol – there I go again, just can't help myself!! While we're all looking forward to a warm shower, clean sheets and a cold beer in Punta del Este – right now we're flying our windseeker and looking forward to stronger winds in the right direction!

Again, thank you all for sending “good vibes” our way. Just to let you know, we do feel the love and chat about how all of you are tracking our every step (no pressure)! So cool to know you're all rooting us on!

Signing off for now – love always, Ann Marie XXXXOOOO
