Clipper 70 arrives in London

The brand new Clipper 70 has arrived at St Katharine Docks, London ahead of an event-filled week planned in celebration of the 70-foot ocean racer.

The third generation of Clipper Race yacht will debut during the forthcoming edition of the world’s longest yacht race which begins this summer and you now have the opportunity to see the Clipper 70 up close.

“We’ve got an exciting week planned to kick off an exciting few years for everyone involved in the Clipper Race,” reveals Chairman and Founder, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston.

“This week will allow crew, sponsors and suppliers the chance to explore our new ocean racer as well as showcasing the yacht to a wider audience and I’d encourage all types of adventurous souls to come take a look.”

Several events will be held from 12 January until 20 January for crew and sponsors as well as offering members of the public to tour the new Clipper 70. Free public tours of the yacht are available during the following times:

Saturday 12 January 10:00-16:00
Sunday 13 January 10:00-15:00
Monday 14 January 16:00-19:00
Tuesday 15 January 10:00-19:00
Wednesday 16 January 10:00-15:00
Friday 18 January 10:00-12:00
Sunday 20 January 12:00-18:00
