Our twelve Clipper 70s make up the world’s largest fleet of matched design ocean racing yachts. Specially built to take on Mother Nature’s toughest conditions as they circumnavigate the globe, these yachts are built for speed, not comfort.

The first big event in our intrepid group of adventurers racing calendar, more than 500 crew members from around the globe and all walks of life gathered at Crew Allocation to discover which skipper would lead them around the world this year whilst friends and family took a tour of their loved ones soon to be new home.

No previous sailing experience is needed to take part as we provide full training, and up to 40 per cent of our crew members have never sailed before they sign up for the race. The only qualifications participants need is a good level of fitness, to be aged 18 or over and possess a thirst for adventure into the unknown.

The 2015-16 race starts in London on Sunday August 30, 2015 and will be the tenth edition series.

Want to be part of the action? The race is now 93 per cent full, and we are also recruiting for the 2017-18 race. To find out more, Click here.
