So we are still beating our way towards Rockall, thankfully the wind is a bit less this evening meaning the angle of heel isn't quite so much. The breeze is set to decrease even more so let’s hope that we have enough to get us around for the last stretch of the race to Derry-Londonderry.

The temperature on deck is very cold now and the dry suits are out in force, more for the warmth factor than spray protection as the sea is now relatively flat. All of us really, really, really want to arrive now. Gone are the days of wishing for air con, bring on the central heating!
