My crew have left today and have been replaced by a team of comedians - Tony Tenerife’s comment on getting out of his top level bunk “Next time I’m upgrading to economy".

Round the world crew member Marc Hundleby was on Mother Watch duty today and for this morning’s entertainment covered himself in chocolate powder, and then just for something a bit different, instead of using milk powder to make up milk, he decided to use flour. I don’t think the coffees and teas went down too well.

We have been drifting around the island or rocky outpost that is Rockall today, and when I say today I pretty much mean all of today. It’s a shame we had to stand at least 1NM off, as it would have been nice to go over and have a look. Another non-Clipper 70 yacht did come out and have a look. I guess it’s not very often that it is very calm and nice out here, all good if you are cruising, not too good if you are trying to race.

So after an upwind sail to get to the rock, we are now having an upwind sail to sail away from the rock, a reef is in and we are just plugging away.

So a favour to ask of all our wonderful supporters. The wonderful crew at Stormhoek Wine are offering a £2000 bar tab for the team that gets the most votes on their Facebook page. You have to go to the Stormhoek page and like them and then say why you think Da Nang - Viet Nam should win, I don’t really like a party, but I do want to win for my crew, lol.

Anyways, thank you for taking the time to vote and thank you Stormhoek for all the lovely wine that you have supplied all the way round (I’m not a beer drinker).

Time for another tack, so I better wedge myself in - we are living on the north face again.

Love youse all,

Wendo
