I’m not going to lie - after almost 24 hours awake I fell asleep 20 minutes before needing to write this blog so am feeling highly uninspired as I can barely see the keyboard. It amazes me that you can actually sleep with the noise of a demented spinnaker as it collapses and gunshot fire of the sheet as the sail refills and the tearing noise of cavitation over the folded propeller as the boat goes above 12 knots.
Anyway, some quick facts - the last 24 hours’ top speed was 19.2 knots and there was one spectacular broach in the dark. All having a blast, but I’m going back to the tranquillity of dreamland before my body wakes fully.
