I feel like it's getting a tad closer now! Today I hope should be a very picturesque day scooting along the northern Northern Irish coast, round Rathlin and back towards the finish line at the entrance to Lough Foyle.

Yesterday heading south from Rockall was a quite an enjoyable sail, especially in the afternoon whereby although the winds were light and shifty, the sun even came out for a bit and it was gentle and easy sailing. I'm pretty sure I heard laughter at one point, but that may have been just Matt Connell who seemed very pleased with himself for getting all of the children's films right in ‘Guess the theme tune’ (very quick with 'Frozen' which I believe is a popular one).

The wind looks like it will be tricky for our final stretch and of course we have Unicef to chase, so we have our work cut out but the destination is worth it…Nothing whatsoever to do with who's waiting ashore of course.
