Conditions have improved now that we have managed to get through a really squally area that we crossed yesterday morning. We changed up to our biggest headsail and spent this morning reefing and shaking out reefs as the clouds came over. Once clear of the last squall cloud, though, the weather was glorious and the sailing much easier with the Skipper and crew being able to relax a bit and enjoy the fact that the boat was up to speed.

During the night, there have been a few squalls but nothing like the night before. The crew are eagerly awaiting easing the sheets and flattening the boat which I have been telling them will happen tomorrow for what seems like days now.
