Yesterday morning, as the wind eased a bit, our medium weight kite went out. Last time we dropped it, there was some big damages on it. During the past two days, our sailmaker team has worked hard to put it back in one piece.

It was good to back fast. In the evening as Ireland appeared behind the clouds, ClipperTelemed+ popped up on AIS. We crossed 1 mile ahead and began to play, gybing in the wind shifts. Rounding Tory Island during the night our lead was 3.5 miles. We are now close hauled smashing waves in a pretty strong wind.

Less than 200 nautical miles to Rockall. Beating against the wind, the route will be long...
