We passed Rockall, three boats together (with ClipperTelemed+ and Derry~Londonderry~Doire)

Beating, we saw Derry~Londonderry~Doire yesterday in the sun set and lost him during the night.

Thought he was on the left but not sure. This morning ClipperTelemed+ came back from the right and crossed 3.5NM ahead. We played some shifts and took the lead. Under control we kept going to Rockall with ClipperTelemed+ 400 metres behind.

We didn't know where Derry~Londonderry~Doire was. And 10NM before Rockall, a sail appeared, he was on the left! Same bearing before crossing ... it will be a close finish! And in fact we crossed two boat lengths behind, four miles off Rockall, with ClipperTelemed+ still 400m behind us.

Derry~Londonderry~Doire was not on layline. We kept going a bit and tack on the layline. Derry~Londonderry~Doire went back on starboard tack, we crossed ahead and made the mark. Since this we are kiting deep downwind ...

The team is working at 200%! In the evening we peeled lightweight to mediumweight during the watch change. Was done perfectly. Just after we sent Leg 5, 6, 7 and 8 crew member Marine Prat to connect the second halyard, at the same time the others were changing the sheet on the windward winch. And when I went down for dinner 15 min later, the lightweight kite was already wooled!

Very good tagine for dinner!
