After a very slow approach and rounding of Tory Island we continue onwards towards Rockall. Having spotted GREAT Britain on Automatic Identification System (AIS) I thought it appropriate to send them a DSC. I'm sure Peter was very grateful as it was 0300 and no doubt the call woke him up. But by my calculations he will have an extra two nights on land so ample time to catch up on the sleep... definitely looking forward to that beer though!

This time also heralded a change in the weather and within 45 minutes we had gone from a windseeker to Yankee 1 to medium weight spinnaker. Now with the wind building we are making acceptable progress in the right direction. As the front moves over we expect the conditions to get much wetter and the gale forecast will mean a series of sail evolutions to keep the crew busy and the boat moving smoothly.
