The fleet is currently transitioning between two Satellite regions and therefore some teams are unable to connect their fleet broadband. Regular communication is maintained with the Clipper Race Office and blogs will be added as soon as they reach the next satellite coverage area.

The last 24 hours saw some quick downwind sailing with the spinnakers up and we made great progress towards Derry-Londonderry. We are now also less than 10nm away from the Elliot Brown Ocean Sprint and the forecast looks promising.

It did get much colder and a bit wetter over the last few days too and by now everyone has changed from t-shirts and shorts to full foul weather gear or even dry suits. Hopefully we can keep this pace to make it into Derry-Londonderry in good time before the next big wind hole arrives. Fingers crossed!

Fair winds and a following sea!
