Although the wind has dropped and shifted aft a little bit, we are still sailing under spinnaker in the right direction and the distance to the finish is now less than 220nm. For the past few days we’ve had pretty low visibility and the sky and the sea are just different shades of grey.

The sun must be somewhere, but we haven't seen it in days. Everyone is wrapped in layers of clothes and the red Henri Lloyd foulies seem to be the only colourful thing on deck. The mood on board is good though and we are all looking forward to the warm welcoming in Derry-Londonderry and some nice cold Guinness when we get there!

Hopefully not long now.

Fair winds and a following sea!

Chris
