We drove straight into the parking lot and applied the handbrake along with the westernmost yachts in the race. The last 24 hours have been a slow drift with the tide sitting off the Murdock and Caister gas platforms.

The windseeker has been aloft overnight and is now drawing Qingdao forward in light winds in the direction of Den Helder. The wind which is forecast for the day will hopefully get us in alongside later this evening.

But it’s not over yet with 98 nautical miles to go we need to keep pushing to the line.

Well done to Visit Seattle and PSP Logistics for running a good race enjoy the spoils of victory!

Cheers, Bob
