A busy day on Unicef, we got partial communications back following some hard work from Tech Support. We put Dan Wagerfield, Leg 1 and 2 crew member and our Watch Leader, up the mast to swap halyards on the spinnaker.

We accidentally put 400 litres of sea water in the bilges trying to get the watermaker to work. We wrapped the medium weight into a gordian knot round the inner forestay, it took all 18 crew to unravel in the greatest team work since the Apollo project. In a scheduling mishap we managed to put both Watch Leaders together on Mother Watch, so both assistant Watch Leaders stepped into the breach.

Leg 1 and 2 crew member Mel Williams and round the world crew member Chloe Ford ran the boat without a misstep. Chloe managed a tricky heavyweight spinnaker hoist in the dark with a reduced watch in a text book fashion.

In racing news we have seen Visit Seattle astern, yea.
