But all in all, with a little help from friends, a surprising number of things can be achieved. That's everyday life here, on CV21. Then even the British-German team or crewwork works.

What’s new on board? Not much, actually.

Durch den Rhytmus des 3-Schicht-Wachsystems verliert man das Gefuehlfuer den normalenTagesrhytmus.
Due to the rhythm of the 3-shift watch system, you lose the feeling for the normal daily rhythm.

Als meine “lange Wache” heute 12 Uhr Mittagsbegann, musste ich staendig auf die Uhr sehen, denn es fuehltesich an, wie “Frueh am Morgen”.
When my “long watch” started today at noon, I had to constantly look at the clock, because it felt like “early in the morning”.

The “day of whales” seemed to be yesterday.

There were still several sightings of entire groups of dolphins and in the late afternoon our boat was accompanied by a large group of pilot whales.

Unser Kurs ist: weiterhinNornordost, wirversuchen, einemsichausdehnebdem “Windloch” nordwestlich, immer am Rand entlang, auszuweichen.
Our course is: continue north northeast, we try to avoid an expanding “wind hole” northwest, always along the edge.

Das isteinkniffeliges Spiel mit dem Wind. Manchmalstirbt er fast, dan blaest er wiederstaerker. Und fueruns, immer die Frage: “Kite oder Staysail”.
This is a tricky game with the wind. Sometimes the wind dies almost, then it blows stronger again. And for us, always the question: “Kite or Staysail”.

Katie hat geradeaus dem OfenetlichePlaetzchengezaubert. Das hebt die Stimmung der ganzen Crew deutlich. :)
Katie just made a few cookies out of the oven. This clearly improves the mood of the whole crew. :)

Und fuermichwird es Zeit, sass ich mir langsam die Fouwliesanziehe. Die Deckswachebeginntgleich.
