Here we are again. With a new blog, the same water, and a new land. And lots of jellyfish and jellybeans. Yes, the beans! We must be in Mexico today. The weather is better, and we are still taking layers off, it is a work in progress. The “shorts and T-shirts” are coming.

We made some lovely progress yesterday until we were put on hold by the US Navy. They were practicing some exercises to save the world, but not our racing plan. So, we had to bring the kite down (and we had only put it up for half an hour). But we are not being difficult so of course we did it. We were surrounded by Dare to Lead, Washington, DC, PSP Logistics, and UNICEF. As we were approaching Dare to Lead, they suddenly put up their Code 2, I think, to impress us. And then...they were gone.

Around 5 o'clock we got the message that we could get the kite up again. So, we had to wake up our Hercules. He always has a problem waking up (you can see it for at least half an hour on his face.) But after a couple feathers in his ass and a cup of tea, he is unstoppable. Running over the deck as a young gazelle. Code 2 went up. And from then until now (the next morning), it is still up!

We had a lot of fun and sunscreen!
