Race 13 Circumnavigators Club
Andrew – Coach
Dianne – Scholar
Jessica – Executive
Lorenzo – Passionate Youth
Mark – Chemist
Ran – Public Relations
Tom – Veteran
We came together as people from different backgrounds (coach, scholar, executive, passionate youth, chemist, public relations, veteran) on this adventure.
This is how society saw us and how we saw each other. As this adventure developed outside of societal constraints, souls were bared, experiences shared and connections made and we all changed. We grew as sailors, friends, and finally as family. As one does with family, we have come together, fought, cried, and laughed together.
In an ode to “The Breakfast Club by John Hughes” we feel similar to them in the closing letter – society sees us as they want to see us … in simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. We have found that we are all a coach, a scholar, an executive, a passionate youth, a chemist, public relations, and a veteran.
Sincerely yours,
The Circumnavigators Club
As we come to an end in 24 days, we will always be family. Some are estranged, others will be close and some will be like that cousin you only see at weddings, funerals, and family reunions.
Though as special as this moment is for us circumnavigators, it is the whole family of PSP Logistics that has made this adventure great!
In my opinion, we have won this “Race of our lives!”
We won’t podium at the end in Portsmouth, but the amount of leggers that continue to follow and send support, also to take time to catch up at later stops, and those planning on coming to Oban and Portsmouth shows how solid this family is! They come not for the glory of the podium, but for the comradery of our team. Thanks to the culture Mike Miller and Lottie Wade have instilled in us and the way every team member approached this adventure!
We are and always will be PSP Logistics.
PSP Logistics (CV Desperados)
ON ON PSP!!
