Greetings from the Bermuda Triangle!

As you might know from all the stories and mysteries about this waterway, there are some unexplained things going on here. We would like to share our first hand experience crossing this special area, during the Clipper Race.

The weather is surreal during the day, with almost no visibility in the low hanging clouds and no sunlight whatsoever. In the night there are no stars, just endless lightning in the distance. We have seen an abandoned World War two ghost ship passing us at dawn this morning.

We can definitely confirm the strange sounds of sirens in the night, calling us off-course to a nearby reef. We think we are going the right way, but our navigation instruments are showing unusual data. It appears we are turning in circles and our clocks are running backwards. So, will we still be able to disappear from the fleet behind us and keep our lead?

Since we need to be faster, we dumped some weight and crew during the last days and now, it's only Wilson and I left on the boat. We hope we can bring the boat back home safely while crossing this triangle shorthanded. Wilson and I are constantly talking about the course, trim of the boat and what we will do when we arrive in Washington DC. Wilson is just my best friend.

Greetings from Giorgio and the Qingdao Crew

PS We are safe, and everyone is still on board.
