Dear Children, here is a message from the boat.

Sunday is Mother's Day and then of course I think about the moment I became a mother and how you two enriched my life. I also think about my own mother, she gave us so much love and trust but also by being very adventurous she inspired me to follow my own path and dreams which also led to this adventure. And that is an adventure! We are with 20/men/women on the boat, and from the start we are working together as a team. They are all very kind, pleasant people from different countries, very good sailors, and some leaders in the team, and all under the supervision of Dan and Laura, it feels all very safe and professional.

It is special how strangers became so quickly a team because of our goal but also because this adventure is for many, a moment of change in their lives.

In a small space, we follow well-thought-out schemes that make our life and boat run well. My life is pretty different, I live in my sailing clothes, sleep in them, brush my teeth when I cannot remember when I did it for the last time, eat great meals, sail, and sleep.

And if I am in my bed during this big adventure I think of you two and I would love to tell you about how to live here, it is timeless, the sea is endless, beautiful and scary when we have big winds, we see backs of whales, jumping dolphins and racing seals, endless stars. I am very grateful that I made this journey, and that my mother was my example in living the life you want to lead and go beyond the know. I hope that I can inspire you to live the life that you want even if it is beyond what we usually do.

Big hug to you, I am endlessly proud of you, Maud.
