Black Betty, having been sat in wind holes, has caused some crew to resort to wind dances- causing much amusement among the rest of the crew, with some good music although some of the dancing was weird to say the least.

David H tried to set up a limbo contest but only one contestant tried. Needless to say he was the only contestant and he won with the bar set at 4ft!

Sadly we have seen as much marine life as we did in the Pacific, just a couple of seabirds and the odd dolphin Black Betty, having been sat in wind holes, has caused some crew to resort to wind dances- causing much amusement among the rest of the crew, with some good music although some of the dancing was weird to say the least.

Sadly we have seen as much marine life as we did in the Pacific, just a couple of seabirds and the odd dolphin. Although I was accosted by a flying fish that hit my life-jacket and bounced into the cockpit which the Skipper quickly disposed of before we had a wretched smell on board.

Unfortunately there does appear to be a lot of plastic rubbish in the sea and in particular floating rubbish trapped on seaweed that endangers sea life - human disregard for the ocean has to change dramatically and now.

We now have ‘Pringlegate’ on board with Pringles being rationed, which is causing devastation to some of the crew and of course there are suspicions of secret Pringle snaffles.

It is now time for me to leave this fantastic crew, Skipper and AQP on Leg 7 within the next couple of days. It's been an amazing experience.

Thank you to my family for following my adventure especially Clare, Nicola, Jack, Archie, Callum and a big mention to my wife Marie who has supported me throughout this.
