All is well on board Zhuhai

In just a few hours we should be coming out of our collective Stealth Mode, which started with around half the fleet in sight however it’s ending with just two other teams around us, so we are quite excited to get the next position report and see how the race has evolved.

The sailing has been great, mainly upwind, and apart from the crossing between Haiti and Cuba quite consistent.

The Panama Canal crossing was really cool, it was amazing to see the natural beauty mixed with the ingenuity and engineering of hundreds of minds.

During these days in such a historic site, and together with the transiting of some islands have seen so many events unfold. It has been nice to think about all of what has happened in this ocean, all the ships, trade, exploration, science, war, devastation, every man and every woman that has crossed from one place to another with hopes of a new life, or maybe wishing they were home.

This ocean has seen it all, and all we can see in it is the wisdom that it holds, but not the scars. An energetic, noble, and beautiful demonstration of the kindness and forgiveness of this world, giving us the opportunity to continue to navigate around it.

Happy Birthday to Daniela my sister!!! Hope you have an amazing day!
