Crew Recruitment Roadshow heads to Derry-Londonderry

From Wednesday until Saturday there will be the chance to get up close and personal on board a Clipper Race yacht. Boat tours are free of charge and located at at the Foyle Marina where they fleet will be berthed until Sunday 29 June.

Open boat tours:

Wednesday 25 June – 1400-1900
Thursday 26 June – 1400-1900
Friday 27 June – 1400-1900
Saturday 28 June – 0900-1300

While the city basks in the glory of Derry~Londonderry~Doire’s incredible win the Clipper Race’s Crew Recruitment and Development Director, David Cusworth will be in the city looking for the next group of adventurous Irish sailors.

For those eager to find out how they can take part in the race there will be crew presentations on Wednesday 25 and Saturday 28 June in Derry-Londonderry: 

Wednesday 25 June – Corporate Marquee (next to Clipper Race Dome) at 1830.

Saturday 28 June – The Guildhall at 1400.

Race 15 The OneDLL Cup to Den Helder, the Netherlands starts on Sunday 29 June from Greencastle, County Donegal where the RAF Red Arrows will perform a spectacular aerial display. The Clipper Race fleet will leave the Foyle Marina at 1100, Race Start is expected to be at 1545.
