Clipper Race founders to ring Opening Bell at Nasdaq tomorrow

Clipper Race founders William Ward, Chief Executive, and Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Chairman, will ring the Opening Bell at the Nasdaq Stock Market in New York on Thursday morning 16 June at 9.30 local time (1330 UTC/GMT – 1430 BST).
The opportunity to participate in the prestigious ceremony marks the arrival of the fleet in the race’s 20th anniversary year.
The biennial event has gone from strength to strength to become the world’s biggest and longest ocean race. It is the most successful ocean racing business of its type in the world today which has been recognised by the Nasdaq ceremony.
The outside of the Nasdaq building in Times Square will have the Clipper Race logo and branding displayed as shown in the image above from the 2013-14 race stopover. The Clipper Race branding will be on display after the bell has been rung, and between 1700 and 1705 at the end of the day.
