Join us today at Foyle Marina and step on board the Clipper 70 yachts to receive a free personal yacht tour from crew members who have competed in this unique race. The free tours will run daily until Saturday 16 July.

Our twelve Clipper 70s make up the world’s largest fleet of matched design ocean racing yachts. Specially manufactured to take on Mother Nature’s toughest conditions as they circumnavigate the globe, these yachts are built for speed, not comfort.

“It’s great but really cramped down below, I can’t believe so many people live in such a small space and the mast is so tall, I wouldn’t want to go up there!" Said a Derry-Londonderry local stepping on board. "I have seen some of the videos of the waves crashing over the boats too, it’s impressive.”

Wednesday 13 July to Friday 15:11:00 – 17:00
Saturday 16 July: 10:00 – 14:00

No previous sailing experience is needed to take part as we provide full training, and up to 40 per cent of our crew members have never sailed before they sign up for the race. The only qualifications participants need is a good level of fitness, to be aged 18 or over and possess a thirst for adventure into the unknown.
