anticipated TV series ‘Race of Their Lives 2’ is now available to own on DVD!
Follow our intrepid crew as they receive intensive training before being let
loose with Mother Nature, and explore why people take on one of the toughest
endurance challenges on the planet.
The crew that take on this huge feat of human endeavour are
a diverse range of characters. As the twelve teams set off at the start line in
London, hopes and dreams are laid bare but the toughest test of human spirit is
yet to come. As we journey 40,000 nautical miles around the globe, discover
what motivates them and how they cope under pressure.
Filmed by cameramen and women who lived on board a different yacht during each
leg of the circumnavigation, the episodes looks at the different dynamics and
cultures which exist amongst the matched racing fleet and covers all the
action, emotion and drama of the challenge. From the rewards of winning and
overcoming adversity, to the challenges of sleep deprivation and facing extreme
conditions, it provides a realistic insight into the experience.
The series, which picked up a prestigious award as ‘Best Documentary Series-UK’
in the industry TMT Media Awards 2016, first hit our screens a year ago today
on Sky Sports, providing an exclusive ‘access-all-areas’ pass to the tenth
edition of the Clipper Race. Since then it has been distributed to over one
hundred countries so far, including; Asia, China, Australia, Middle East,
Africa, Europe and Russia, plus North and South America.
