As part of our fresh new website, we all at the Clipper Race thought you might like to get an insight of what goes on behind the scenes at Race HQ.

We’ll give you the inside track on the logistics and challenges faced when organising a round the world yacht race for close to 700 amateur crew members.

Including how to move a 70-foot from its berth on the South Coast of the UK to central London’s Trafalgar Square and the process to find 12 highly skilled skippers to guide a team round the world.
