Morning and happy Friday to you all,

This could possibly be the last blog of Race 13 for us as I expect us to arrive sometime during the night tomorrow or first thing Sunday morning.

This depends on how the next few hours progress, with us racing to stay ahead of the high-pressure system that's moving north. We still have good speeds so hoping we will make it above the high and then we should reach the waypoint 40 miles out of Oban by tomorrow afternoon, and then the light wind last stretch begins for the home run into Oban. Our Isles and Oceans is within 10 miles, and we are coming out of Stealth Mode shortly so will switch back on the AIS and be visible to them. We have been racing close by to them since turning the corner near the ice limit and choosing the northern route, so it's great that it's a close finish between us both.

Unfortunately, the last weather forecast favoured the front of the fleet on the Rhumb Line course and didn't go our way, so we won't be able to catch the top boats but the race is very much alive for the remaining positions, plus some Ocean Sprint points we could still be able to hold our fourth position overall going into the last race - depending on a few factors.

We all look forward to getting into Oban and experiencing some Scottish culture, resting and getting ready for the last race down to Portsmouth. Two weeks tomorrow we will be sailing around the bottom of the Isle of Wight, and once again seeing the Spinnaker Tower in Gunwharf. It will all start sinking in that we have just sailed around the world in eleven months, boom!

Have a nice weekend all!

Bye for now,

Ryan, Charlie, and Crew
