Just a short one from me today. The Atlantic actually looks more like the North Atlantic, or what we assumed it to be like. The conditions over the past 48 hours have been very steady... until last night. We have been flying our Code 1 and Code 2 in very nice steady downwind conditions, with sunny days and clear nights which have been perfect for helming straight. However, over the course of the night the wind slowly picked up, so we switched to our Code 3, which is a more heavy duty sail, for the strong winds we were getting. It has been a very dark night with full cloud coverage and the waves were hitting us sideways on, so helming straight has been a real concentration. Hopefully these conditions should last until mid-morning, when we might need to change back to our Code 2 when the wind eases off.
