Hello Qingers!
We’ve had some fantastic sailing so far in Race 13, sunny consistent high speeds meaning the fleet has been making good progress to Scotland. Yesterday the wind dropped enough for us to change to our Code 1 which is our favourite and least repaired sail, meaning it’s still in good shape and flies nicely.
Some of the fleet that we’ve not seen in a while have converged on our course so it's fun trying to keep up with some different boats.
Looking ahead, we’ll have some changeable weather across the fleet. As high-pressure systems move across the Atlantic we want to pick up the corridors of wind between the systems. Later on, there will be the opportunity to ride low pressure systems – hopefully across the Ocean Sprint.
Other than that, not much to report; on deck keep helming and trimming, down below keep producing tasty, filling food and Phil and I wait for the next 6 hourly position report to see what position changes happen across the fleet.
Love to those at home,
Henry, Phil and the dragon riders
