Blog number two already! We have been flying along, going with a nice wind direction across the Caribbean Sea. It’s been sunny and hot, although not as hot as the coast of Costa Rica and Panama. We are in Stealth Mode, along with the rest of the fleet somewhere between Cuba and Haiti. Only time will tell how we do when the invisibility cloak comes off and we reappear on the Race Viewer. This race is proving to be a tight one so far. With everyone so close, the team is really motivated to trim, trim, trim and keep the boat going at its best possible speed. For now, it seems to be working for us. After the upwind start it’s nice to be nearing the downwind section of this race. Everyone is looking forward to a flatter boat and some spinnaker flying in the Atlantic.
