Beating upwind into 30 knots with hail rain is quite an experience of adversity, and the crew are handling it like champions.
Yesterday was also a special day, as it was Charlie's birthday! Which meant happy birthday was sang a lot, steak for dinner, and Charlie even spent his night watch curling up with a primary winch, trying to shield himself from the wind. Nothing screams happy 27th birthday like a primary winch cuddle sesh, ay.
The great news is, we got 10 knots in the right direction! We got stomped by some wind holes, but the sailing is pretty awesome, and we are doing the best with what we have.
