Goodbye Fremantle. Thank You to everyone that helped the fleet while we were there. It was great to be able to explore the area. In between fixing our sails and stocking up on supplies for the next race we also said goodbye to several of our crew who finished their race experience here.
We hope you all had good journeys home. Maybe see you in another stop. This does mean that we welcome our new joiners to the boar they are currently working to get up to speed with the boat and remembering everything from their training.
What a Race Start several differing tactics on the start line, a race start wind hole to navigate and then the front six boats all rounding the third mark of the course within about 500m of each other, this race is going to be a close one. It’s fantastic to see the whole fleet that close with spinnakers flying. Now we are battling up wind past Cape Leeuwin. After several sail changes, its sunny windy and very wet on deck.
