Good morning,

We've started to make our way through the synoptic chaos. We passed over a little front yesterday which went smoothly as we had chosen a good route through. Since we passed through the front, the wind has swung round and we have been beating our way towards Oban, tacking as the wind shifts in order to achieve the best VMG, but also position ourselves best for the high pressure that's looming over us.

We passed the 1,000nm mark not long ago and currently have 881nm left of our final ocean crossing of the race. All is still to play for, especially with the forecast ahead and different tactics still left to pan out.
