Hello everyone, another short one as its about 6 million degrees in here or so. I have just woken up after a feverishly hot attempt at sleeping, and the cool air of the night is beckoning.
Not heaps has happened since we last spoke, the wind has been fickle to non-existent for us, and the heat relentlessly ratcheting up. The crew have battled valiantly as always but often it's been a case of no matter where we point the boat, we do one mile an hour in the right direction at best, which has been a trifle demoralising.
The wildlife has been avoiding us, until today where we saw four dolphins and our first turtle, which our media man Alan missed because he was trying to film the dolphins. As we speak the breeze has filled in, and we are now making a reasonable course and speed.
Long may it last! All the best from the crew, Mike and Myself
