Hello everyone,

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Appreciate that having missed a blog (once again, convinced the other had sent it off without actually checking with them) you haven’t heard from us in a while.

Our story is much the same as the others. There are war zones that have been tidier, more organised and with less ill people in than our boat on those first two days.

Thankfully, the calmer weather and a bit of sun has helped people find their sea legs, and realise sailing can be kind of fun, and the first laughter could be heard on board! Race-wise it's been a proper roller coaster with us fluctuating from fifth to second and everywhere in between. Yesterday, saw us briefly take the lead. Leaving our opposition floundering, we gave ourselves a hearty pat on the backs only to subsequently get windholed for two hours and watch them scream off over the horizon.

We are currently in third and have put all our tactical eggs in one basket, so only time will tell how that one goes as we prepare ourselves for the next upwind bout and the immense Chinese fishing fleets that lie in wait for us up north…All the best from the crew, Mike and myself
