The Clipper Race has renewed its partnership with TimeZero, returning for a fourth consecutive edition as the Official Navigation Software Supplier.

The eleven strong fleet of 70 ft ocean racing yachts will once again be equipped with TZ Professional for the 40,000 nm circumnavigation. Renowned for its famous routing algorithm, Weather Routing Module, and cutting edge Position Report tool, TZ Professional will enable the Clipper Race Skippers to seek out the fastest route, plan their race strategies and keep track of the competition.

The Weather Routing Module, created for competition, provides unrivalled performance and usability for skippers. The Clipper Race teams will utilise two main features whilst racing: polars (wind, speed and sails) and weather forecasts, in order to optimise their route, depending on their parameters, and increase performance.

The TimeZero by MaxSea solution is the result of more than 30 years of innovation and development in marine navigation technology for professional racers and recreational sailors. Offering a wide range of possibilities, TZ Professional will be used by the Clipper Race Office and its Skippers to maximise team performance.

The 2019-20 edition of the Clipper Race saw the ocean-racing event be the first to benefit from the release of the new TimeZero by MaxSea software: Version 4. This update included new exclusive tools, weather display and forecasts.
