Level 4: Remember, it’s a Race

6.5 Days on the water

This is the real deal – for your final week of training, you’ll be living aboard an ocean racing yacht and competing as a well-drilled team. It’s the closest you’ll get to the race itself.

Teamwork is everything

Meet your dedicated Race Skipper and First Mate and learn how to work as a team to get maximum speed.

Safety as second nature

The Race

The Clipper Race is one of the biggest challenges of the natural world and an endurance test like no other.

From training duration to fitness requirements, find the answers you need below.

On Level 4 you will train on your actual Clipper 70 team yacht, with your professional Race Skipper, First Mate and some of your Race Crew. You will complete any final safety drills and then spend time racing against the other boats under full race conditions and rules. It is a real dress rehearsal for your race experience ahead.
