Meet Patrick, a 35-year-old Camera assistant from Ireland.

A born adventurer, Paddy came across the Clipper Race when he decided that for his next challenge he wanted to take a step back from the day to day, to look at life from a distance and reconnect with what made him excited.

Now a fully-fledged ocean racer who has sailed round the globe, Paddy said: “I'd encourage anybody to try anything that gets them out of their comfort zone and expands their boundaries, because what this has taught me is that we're all capable of so much more than we know or will let ourselves believe.”
