Race Start Spectator Boat Tickets on Sale

Want to be at the heart of the action when the twelve ocean racing yachts of the Clipper 2015-16 Race fleet depart London to start the tenth edition of the world’s longest yacht race?
From today (at 1100 UTC/GMT) you will be able to book on-water front row seats to see the fleet parade along the River Thames on Sunday 30 August.
The official spectator boats will offer friends, family and race followers a unique chance to see the departure of the Clipper Race fleet from St Katharine Docks.
Once full, each spectator boat will leave the dock and wait in the vicinity of Tower Bridge as the Clipper Race fleet prepares for its parade down the Thames.
The spectator boats will be on the water for a maximum of four hours. There will be no stop-off points during the voyage.
Tickets be priced at £15 for adults, £7.50 for under 16s and free for infants.
They are available on a first come first served basis with a maximum of ten tickets able to be purchased at one time. Tickets go on sale here on Friday 29 May at 1100 UTC/GMT.
