Stormhoek Wines named Official Wine Partner of the Clipper 2015-16 Race

South African wine brand Stormhoek, based in the famous Western Cape wine region, has been announced as the Official Wine Partner of the Clipper 2015-16 race.

Race chairman, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston says: “Stormhoek wines celebrate adventure and human achievement, and there is simply no bigger human achievement on this planet than to compete in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. It’s the perfect fit.

Stormhoek wines, from the Cape of Storms, have braved the elements just like Clipper Race crew members, and celebrate the friendships that are made, whenever life is lived. Of the eighteen wines in the range, Clipper 2015-16 Race crew will be served Stormhoek Chardonnay and Stormhoek Cabernet Sauvignon during race arrivals and official events.

The Clipper Race fleet will visit Cape Town, South Africa in October 2015 at the end of Leg 2 which starts in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
